Folder Records, as its name suggests, merges the flair of analog archives with the groove of music in times of digital manifestation. The visual identity, developed in collaboration with Pira Studio, mirrors just that. Starting with the gesture of flipping through records which inspired the type-play in the logo, the colour palette references an "office core" atmosphere of pastel colours in contrast with RGB-colours and the secondary monospace type alludes to a time gone by of type-machines sounding in the background.

As important as the use of the bold condensed type in all communication materials is the use of imagery from libraries, museums and other archives made publicly available for the sake of knowledge made public through digitisation.
